No player-to-player interaction
Smoogies has no player chat, direct messages, shared social spaces, or other player-to-player communication.
No advertising
There are no ads of any kind. Play is never interrupted by advertising or built around watching adverts.
No pressure mechanics
There are no loot boxes, pay-to-win advantages, or limited-time pressure tactics. Missing a day does not create a punishment loop.
Built to be fair and gentle
Smoogies is offline-first: care, home decorating, and minigames can be enjoyed without a constant connection. The game uses real-time growth, but not anxiety. Pets do not punish players for missing a day.
Coins can be earned through quests and achievements, and may also be purchased optionally. A player who never spends money can always feed pets, complete quests, and progress through the game.
